1. Who we are

makeidol (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an AI influencer creation service operated by IMFIT LET PTD. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use makeidol.com (“the Service”).

2. Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials. If you sign in through Google, we receive the profile information you authorize, such as name, email, and profile picture.

Prompts, references, and generated content

We store the prompts, character details, reference media, voice inputs, and generated images, videos, and audio that the Service produces for you. This powers your characters, sessions, assets, and generation history.

Usage data

We use privacy-focused analytics to understand aggregate product usage, such as pages visited, features used, and generation counts. We do not use this analytics data to track you across unrelated sites.

Payment information

When paid plans are available, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not directly collect or store your card numbers or banking details. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy for how Stripe handles payment data.

3. How we use AI and your data

makeidol routes prompts and reference media to specialized AI providers to generate characters, images, videos, voices, and talking-head clips. When you submit a request:

• Your prompt and relevant reference media are forwarded to the model provider required to fulfill the request.
• We do not use your prompts or generated content to train AI models, and we select providers that commit to the same where available.
• Generated outputs are returned to you and stored privately in your account so you can refine, download, reuse, or delete them.
• We retain generation inputs and outputs while they remain in your account so history, character consistency, and re-run features work as expected.

4. How we use your information

• Service delivery: to provide, maintain, and improve AI-powered character, image, video, audio, and asset features.
• Billing: to manage subscriptions, credits, and payment records when paid plans are enabled.
• Communication: to send service updates, security alerts, account notices, and support replies.
• Abuse prevention: to detect fraud, automated scraping, impersonation abuse, non-consensual content, and attempts to bypass metering or safeguards.
• Product improvement: to analyze aggregated usage patterns and improve the Service.

5. Data storage and security

Your data is stored with trusted infrastructure providers, including Supabase for database and storage and Vercel for application hosting. We use technical and organizational safeguards including:

• Encryption in transit and at rest where supported
• Authenticated account access and session refresh
• Server-side credit and quota enforcement
• Access controls for private account assets and generation history

6. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:

• AI model providers: to process generation requests.
• Infrastructure providers: including Supabase and Vercel, to host and operate the Service.
• Stripe: for payment processing when paid plans are available.
• Legal requirements: when required by law, court order, or government request, after appropriate review.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete personal data we hold about you. To make a data request, email privacy@makeidol.com. We respond within 30 days.

8. Data retention

• Account data, prompts, character data, and generated content are retained while your account is active.
• After account deletion, personal data and generated content are removed within a reasonable period unless retention is required by law.
• Anonymized, aggregated analytics may be retained indefinitely.
• Billing records are retained as required by law.

9. Cookies

We use essential first-party cookies required to keep you logged in and protect the Service. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

10. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice where required.
