Refund Policy

14-day money-back guarantee

If MakeIdol isn’t what you expected, request a full refund within 14 days of your first paid subscription charge — no questions asked.

Eligibility

• New subscriptions: full refund within 14 days of your first payment.
• Annual plan renewals: full refund within 14 days of each renewal charge.
• Monthly plan renewals: we’ll refund the current month within 7 days of the renewal charge, provided you haven’t used more than 20% of that month’s credits.
• Plan upgrades: the prorated upgrade charge is refundable within 14 days of the upgrade.
• Failed generations never cost credits: they are refunded to your balance automatically.

Changing plans

An upgrade applies at once: you pay the prorated difference, and the extra credits for the rest of the billing month are added right away. To move to a smaller plan, or between monthly and annual, cancel in Account settings → Manage billing. Your plan keeps running to the end of the period you paid for, with no partial refund for the time left; then choose the new plan.

How to request a refund

Email legal@makeidol.com from the email address on your account. A one-line note on why is optional, and it helps us improve.

Refunds are processed by Stripe to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.

Cancellation

You can cancel anytime from Account settings → Manage billing. After cancellation:

• You keep full access until the end of the current billing period.
• You won’t be charged for the next cycle.
• You can download what you made before access ends.
• When the paid period ends, your account returns to the Free plan and your remaining subscription credits expire.

Exceptions

Refunds may not be available when:

• The account has been terminated for violating our Terms of Service (for example abuse, prohibited content or attempts to get around credit limits).
• The applicable refund window has expired.
• A chargeback was filed without contacting us first. Please reach out and we’ll refund you directly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy. Material changes are announced by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. The policy in force at the time of your charge applies to that charge.
